Keeping Pakistan's Chappal Tradition Alive
Genuine leather. Hand-stitched construction. One pair at a time.
Rooted in Peshawar
Khyber Chappal began with a simple idea: the Peshawari chappal — one of Pakistan's most recognisable pieces of traditional footwear — deserves to be made properly, not rushed through a factory line. Our craftsmen still use the hand-stitching and full-grain leather methods that have defined this style for generations in and around Peshawar, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Charsadda Chappal & Beyond
Alongside the classic Peshawari, we make the sturdier Charsadda chappal — named for the town of Charsadda and known for its double-layered sole and rugged build — as well as Kaptaan, Zalmi, Norozi and Quetta chappal. Each style carries its own regional history, and we've built our catalog to represent the real breadth of traditional Pakistani chappal, not just one design.
Real Leather, No Shortcuts
Every pair is cut and stitched from genuine leather by skilled cobblers who learned the craft the traditional way. We don't use synthetic substitutes or mass-production shortcuts — it takes longer, but it's the only way to make a chappal that actually lasts and ages the way leather should.
